Interview with Patrick Mouratoglou, Coach of Serena Williams PART ONE: Laying the Foundation for Largest Tennis Academy in Europe

What could be more ideal than playing tennis and basking in the sunshine on the French Riviera? With this in mind on April 10, 2015, Patrick Mouratoglou cemented the first foundation stone celebrating the construction of his new state-of-the-art tennis academy, scheduled to open in Biot, Sophia-Antipols 2016.

With an incredible coaching career spanning decades including: Marcos Baghdatis, Grigor Dimitrov and currently Serena Williams, as well as an established academy in Paris — Coach Mouratoglou has already built a foundation of excellence. But as much as he enjoys helping established pro players reach their goals, he gets the most satisfaction from helping young players achieve their dreams. Building the largest academy in Europe set in the heart of the French Riviera, will give more players at any level the opportunity to benefit from Coach Mouratoglou’s method and enjoy the sport of tennis in the most magnificent setting and climate.
